In September, 2024 you can practice portrait painting from life with David Gray.
This workshop is for practicing the technique of indirect oil painting from life. We will work with one model for four days. David will lead you thoroughly through his classically inspired approach from the initial drawing of the model to the final glazing and detail.
We will have time to watch David demonstrate and each student will get personal help throughout the four day workshop.
The studio in Saratoga is well equipped and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and places of lodging nearby. Once you are registered you will receive a materials list from your host Gabriel.
